Senator Sylviana Murni Supports Tourism Development in Thousand Islands

We're going to optimally promote the Thousand Islands tourism at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, to bounce back after the pandemic

Senator in the Jakarta Regional Representatives Council (DPD) Sylviana Murni supports the Thousand Islands' plans to develop tourism sector through the improvement of the necessary facilities and infrastructure.

One of the plans supported is the development of "Negeri Seribu Pulau" with gateway access to Thousand Islands through the West Ancol gate, North Jakarta.

"We're going to optimally promote the Thousand Islands tourism at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, to bounce back after the pandemic," she expressed, after the coordination meeting at the Mitra Praja Building, North Jakarta, Wednesday (1/27).

In the meantime, Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi thanked the Committee III DPD for choosing the Thousand Islands as the location for regional tourism development.

"I hope this will happen soon," he hoped.

As for the information, the meeting was also attended by Committee III DPD Deputy Chairperson I, Evi Apita Maya and Committee III DPD Deputy Chairperson III, Fadil Rahmi.
